The latest release to the Autosoft Sales and F&I application is now available. It contains useful updates that allow for greater user customization to the Auction Search table, sales graphs, reconditioning fees, and trim selection. 

 

Sales and F&I Users Can Now Filter Sales Graph Data By Retail Or Wholesale Deal Type

Benefit: Provides users targeted sales data.

Details: Users now can filter the Sales Graph data by retail or wholesale sales. This gives users greater control over the data that is displayed within the Sales application, allowing for more narrowly focused sales data. 

Note: Deal Status is set to Retail by default.

To set the Sales Graphs card to display either retail or wholesale sales, complete the following steps.

  1. In the Sales and F&I application, click Sales
  2. On the Sales Graphs card, click Settings_April132020.png

    The Settings card opens.

  3. From the Deal Type dropdown, select the checkboxes for Retail or Wholesale, or check both.
  4. Click Checkmark_April132020.png.

    The Sales Graphs card will display sales results using the filter options you chose.

Sales and F&I Users Can Now Filter Sales Graph Data By Deal Sold Status

Benefit: Provides Users More Specific Sales Data

Details: Users now can filter the sales graph data by retail or wholesale sales by sold or finished sales. This gives users greater control over the data that is displayed within the Sales application, allowing for more narrowly focused sales data. 

Note: Deal Status is set to Finished by default.

To set the Sales Graphs card to display either sold or finished sales, complete the following steps.

  1. In the Sales and F&I application, click Sales
  2. On the Sales Graphs card, click Settings_April132020.png

    The Settings card opens.

  3. From the Deal Sold Status dropdown, select the checkboxes for Sold or Finished, or check both.
  4. Click Checkmark_April132020.png.

    The Sales Graphs card will display sales results using the filter options you chose.

 

Sales and F&I Favorites Menu And History Menu Combined

Benefit: More streamlined navigation controls.

Details: The Favorites menu icon in the top-right corner of the Sales and F&I application has been removed and the dropdown menu has been combined with the History menu. 

To view the new menu layout, complete the following steps.

  1. From Sales and F&I, click mceclip1.png in the top-right corner of the screen.
  2. The History/Favorites dropdown opens. 
  3. Click the History or Favorites tab to open that tab.

Sales and F&I Users Now Have Option To Exclude Fleet Deals From Sales Graphs

Benefit: Gives user more control over the data is included in the Sales Graphs card.

Details: The Settings card within the Sales Graphs card now gives users the ability to exclude fleet deals from the overall deals counted in the Sales Graph. 

Note: Deal Status is set to Include Fleet Deals by default.

To exclude fleet deals from the Sales graph, complete the following steps.

  1. In the Sales and F&I application, click Sales
  2. On the Sales Graphs card, click Settings_April132020.png. 

    The Settings card opens.

  3. Clear the Include Fleet Deals checkbox.
  4. Click Checkmark_April132020.png.

    The Sales Graphs card will display sales results using the filter options you chose.

Sales and F&I Average Gross Sales Now Listed On Gross Sales Graph

BenefitAdditional dealership sales metrics available for analysis.

Details: The Gross Sales graph now displays the average sales amount in dollars as a banner above the total front gross, total back gross, and total gross bars. The total gross amount in dollars is listed below the total front gross, total back gross, and total gross bars, so the user now has a comprehensive view of their gross sales.

Sales and F&I Inventory Management User Can Now Add Or Remove Certain Columns Within The Auction Search

Benefit: Users have more power to configure the auction runlist by their own preferences. 

Details: The Auction Search table now includes a Select Columns button in the upper-right corner of the table. Users can use the Select Columns dropdown to tailor the Auction Search table to their needs.

To reconfigure the Auction Search table, complete the following steps.

  1. From the Overview, click Vehicle > Auction Search.

    The Auction Search table opens.

  2. Click Select Columns.

    The Select Columns dropdown opens. It includes three sections: Vehicle, Auction, and Pricing.

  3. All Columns are selected by default. To deselect every column for each column category, clear the Select All checkbox beside the category name. 
  4. To deselect specific columns, click the ArrowIcon_April142020.png beside Vehicle, Auction, or Pricing and deselect a specific column name, such as Year, Location, or Market Analysis.

 

Sales and F&I Autosoft Market Analysis Column Added To Auction Search Table

Benefit: Richer market information directly within Auction Search table.

Details: When users click on a vehicle in the Auction Search table, a preview of Autosoft Market Analysis is now included on the far right, listing the market price, number of vehicles, average odometer, average days on market, and market day supply. This data is generated on the fly using dealership default values. Previously, this panel was occupied by a map of the auction location.

Inventory Management Multi-select Auction Channel Added to Auction Search Table

Benefit: Allow sales managers to filter data from multiple auction data list providers. 

Details: The Auction Search table now allows users to view or exclude run lists from multiple auction data list providers: ACV, ADESA, and Manheim. When the user clicks in the Auction Channel field, the Auction Channel dropdown opens. It lists each auction data list provider, with the auction channels for each provider below the provider name. There is a checkbox next to each auction data list provider and channel name. To include that provider or channel, click the checkbox net to it. To filter out a provider or channel, deselect the checkbox next to it.

Inventory Management Added Support For ADESA Auctions

Benefit: Used car sales managers are now able to browse a larger selection of vehicles in Auction Search.

Details: Autosoft has added support for ADESA auctions in the ADESA Dealerblock, ADESA Runlist, and ADESA Simulcast channels. Users can choose to include these channels in the Auction Search table by clicking on Auction Channel and selecting the checkboxes next to one or all of the ADESA options. The ADESA data is updated six times a day.

 

Inventory Management Added Support For ACV Runlist

Benefit: Used car sales managers are now able to browse a larger selection of vehicles in Auction Search.

Details: Autosoft has added support for ACV Runlist auction. Users can choose to include these channels in the Auction Search table by clicking on Auction Channel and selecting the checkboxes next to ACV or Runlist. The ACV runlist data is updated live, as ACV publishes new data. 

 

Inventory Management Users Can Now Change Trim Selection From Book Providers In A Bookout

Benefit: Users can modify appraisal information from a book provider if they have more accurate information.

Details: In a bookout or appraisal, user can now modify the trim of a vehicle in a book provider card in the Trim field after they decode the VIN. Previously, when a dealership decodes a VIN in an appraisal or bookout, the trim of the vehicle is locked for book providers and the Trim field is grayed out.

After you change the trim, the appraisal or bookout will be flagged so anyone viewing the appraisal will know the values have changed.
