The latest release to the Autosoft Sales and F&I application contains several enhancements. Please read the information below for more information.

 

Sales and F&I

View Customer, Vehicle, and Trade Information on Finished Deals

Benefit: View customer, vehicle, and trade information on finished deals without having to unwind the deal.

Detail: The Customer, Vehicle, and Trade tabs are no longer locked on finished deals. The user can now access these tabs to view their corresponding information. However, the user cannot edit the information on the finished deal.

 

Deal Options Narrowed When Editing a Finished Deal

Benefit: Reduces the opportunity for error/mistakes when editing a finished deal by ensuring finished deals remain in the proper state after editing..

Detail: When users click Change Deal Status > Edit Finished Deal, the options to Unwind Deal and Resend to Accounting disappear during editing and are only available again after the user clicks Finish Editing Deal.

 

Rebate Tax 1 Box Now Checked by Default for Georgia Dealerships

Benefit: Allows Georgia-based dealerships to be compliant with current Georgia tax law (HB 340).

Detail: When desking a lease deal, the Tax 1 check box on the Rebates modal is now checked by default for dealerships in Georgia. This causes the rebate tax to be automatically calculated.

Local Fee Now Calculated for Lease Deals at Virginia-based Ford Dealerships

Benefit: Virginia Ford dealerships don’t have to manually calculate local fee. 

Detail: When desking a lease deal, Virginia-based Ford dealerships can view the local fee on the Tax 3 column under Tax Rates - Virginia (Upfront) on the Taxes modal. The local fee is a tax applied to the value in the Tax 2 column, at either 13.25% (personal) or 17.75% (commercial).

Special State Sales Tax for Off-road Vehicles Now Calculated for Texas Dealerships

Benefit: Texas dealerships don’t have to manually calculate additional sales tax for off-road vehicles.

Detail: When desking a deal for an off-road vehicle, Texas-based dealerships can view the additional sales tax for off-road vehicles on the Tax 3 column under Tax Rates - Texas. The additional sales tax is applied to the value in the Tax 2 column.
