Editing Front and Back Options in Sales Setup

Once you've added a front or back option to the Sales area of the Setup app, you can't delete the option. You can, however, flag the option as "Inactive." When an option is flagged as "Inactive" in this way, it will not be accessible for adding to deals in the Sales app. 

Step 1. Click on the Setup app button in the main navigation bar. The Setup app will open to the Dealership Information page.

Step 2. Click the Sales button from the horizontal button bar running across the top of the screen. The Sales options drop-down menu will open.

Step 3. Select Options: Back or Options: Front from the Sales options menu. The respective screen will open. (For this example, we're using Back Options)

Step 4. Search for or scroll through the list of existing options to locate the option you want to edit or flag "Inactive." Click the item in the list to open its quick look card and review the option information.  

Step 5. Click the Edit Option button in the upper-right corner of the quick look card. The option pop-up will open. 

Step 6. Make the necessary changes. If you want to flag the option as "Inactive," click the Active toggle in the upper-right corner of the pop-up so it changes to a gray background. You can reactive the option at any time by clicking the toggle again and turning the background blue.  

Step 7. Click Save and Close. The changes you've made will be saved. If you've marked the option as "Inactive," it will no longer appear in its respective options list unless you click the Show Inactive toggle in the lower-right corner of the options screen. It will then appear and list "Inactive" in the Status column.
