Once you've added a vehicle insurance agent to the Setup application, you can edit the information, but you can't completely delete it from the system. You can, however, flag the agent as "Inactive," which prevents it from displaying in the Veh. Insurance Agents screen unless the Show Inactive toggle is clicked. Setting an agent as inactive also prevents the agent from being listed as an option in the Sales app's Desking screen.
Step 1. Click on the Setup app button in the main navigation bar. The Setup app will open to the Dealership Information page.
Step 2. Click the Sales button from the horizontal button bar running across the top of the screen. The Sales options drop-down menu will open.
Step 3. Select Veh. Insurance Agents from the Sales options menu. The Veh. Insurance Agents screen will open.
Step 4. Search the list or scroll to locate the vehicle insurance agent you want to edit or flag as "Inactive." When you locate the agent, click on the agent to open the quick look card.
Step 5. Click the Edit Agent button in the upper-right corner of the card. The Edit Insurance Agent pop-up will open.
Step 6. Make any necessary changes to the agent information. If you want to flag it as "Inactive," click the Active toggle in the upper-right corner of the pop-up. The background of the toggle will become gray, and the toggle's label will change to "Inactive."
Step 7. Click Save and Close. If you flagged the agent as "Inactive," the listing will be removed from the Vehicle Insurance Agents list. You can reveal the agent and other inactive agents by clicking the Show Inactive toggle in the lower-right corner of the screen.
