Use the Templates setup to create your menu templates. You can completely control the templates by assigning back option products to each template. You can add up to six products to a package. When working the deal, choose the template you’d like to use in the menu. You can then edit the menu to remove options as you work the deal.
To add a new template, follow these steps.
Step 1. Click the Setup app button in the main navigation bar. The application will open to the Dealership screen.
Step 2. Click the Sales button in the horizontal button bar at the top of the screen. The Sales option drop-down menu will open.
Step 3. Select Menu Selling from the Sales option menu. The Menu Selling setup will open to the Defaults page.
Step 4. Click the Templates button to open the Menu Selling Templates page. Any existing templates will be listed here.
Step 5. Click the New Template button in the upper-right corner of the page. A pop-up will open.
Step 6. Name the template using the Template Name field.
Step 7. Use the Deal Type and Inventory Type drop-down options menus to select the deal type and inventory type for which this template applies.
Step 8. Click the Active Packages options button to open a drop-down menu. You can have up to four options in the package, and the system defaults to All Packages, but if you wish to offer fewer options in the package, click to uncheck one or more options.
Step 9. In the Package Option 1 through Package Option 4 fields, type the names you want to assign to the four options. As you type names in these fields, the names for the options in the pop-up's Menu Products card change.
Step 10. In the pop-up's Menu Products card, select the Product Type, Provider, and Plan by clicking each field's options button and clicking on the item of choice in the drop-down menu.
Step 11. Click the toggle for each of the packages you would like to assign the product. If the toggle is to the right and has a blue background (shown below) the package is selected.
You can add up to six products. Click the blue + button to add a new product and repeat steps 10 and 11 for each product.
To remove a product, click the gray - button next to the product.
Step 12. You can arrange the products by clicking and holding the handles (three horizontal lines) at the left of the each row. The cursor changes to a hand symbol so you can drag and drop the item where you want it in the list.
Step 13. When you are finished adding products, click Save to save the information. A green “Success” message verifies the information has been saved.
