The Collaboration Center gives you the tools to do your job more efficiently. Collaborate with colleagues and stay abreast of business activities that affect you. Open the center to access the Chat and Notification tabs. Read and exchange messages with coworkers using the Chat tab, and get notifications regarding system messages and activity on items you're following.
Open the center using the left-facing caret in the upper-right corner of the screen to access the Chat and Notification tabs. If the caret is red , you have messages or notifications awaiting your attention.
You can also share business items you're working on through the Chat tab. If you have several conversations going at once, you can easily bounce between conversations by collapsing one conversation and opening another.
Get notifications regarding system messages and activity on items you're following. You can access system notifications from Autosoft here, as well as any updates based on the notification preferences you set in your user profile.
Collaboration Center Alerts
In addition to the red Collaboration Center caret that appears when the center is closed and the red alert bubbles that appear on the tabs when it's open, alerts to new chat messages and system notifications will be delivered in the form of a real-time pop-up message accompanied by an audible alert. The notification pop-up will appear in the lower-right corner of your screen and will contain the name of the user messaging you or the application out of which the notification is being sent (Vehicle if there is activity on vehicle you're watching, Customer if a customer you're watching has been updated, and Sales if a deal you're watching has been altered). Depending on the length of the message, the pop-up will also contain the beginning or entirety of the message. These alerts can be turned off and on in your Web browser settings.
