You can start deals in Autosoft Sales and F&I in a variety of ways. For instance, if your customer has fallen in love with a vehicle you were reviewing with them using the Vehicle app, you can start a new deal with a couple of clicks from any page in the vehicle record. You don't have to navigate to the Sales app to start.
To start a new deal from a vehicle record, follow these steps:
Step 1. From any page of a vehicle record, click the New Deal button.
The Deal Information pop-up will open.
Step 2. Verify that all the default information that auto-populates the Deal Information pop-up is correct for your deal. You can make changes to the default information and fill the empty Source and Prospect Type fields by clicking each field's options button to open the field's drop-down menu.
Step 3. Select the appropriate option from the drop-down menu.
Step 4. When you're done making adjustments to the Deal Infomation pop-up, click Save. The Sales application will open to a new deal. The deal is identified by a deal number and is signified as a quote because a buyer has not yet been assigned to the deal.
Step 5. Now you can start working the deal. If you would like to collapse the Deal Summary Card at the top of the screen to make more available space for working the deal, click the blue upward-facing caret in the Deal Summary Card. To reopen the card, click the blue downward-facing caret.
Continue working the deal. To learn more about how to work a deal, view the Knowledge Base article, "Working a Deal."
The Display Customer View option hides the Pricing and Details cards, as well as the horizontal button bar, on the Overview page of the vehicle record. This allows you to share the screen with customers without displaying any sensitive dealership information. If the vehicle record is set to the customer view, the button will be replaced by the Display Dealer View button.
Step 1. While in a vehicle record, click Display Customer View.
The Pricing and Details cards are automatically removed from the screen, and the horizontal button bar is also removed.
To view the Pricing and Detail cards, click the Display Dealer View button that has replaced the Display Customer View button.
Editing and deleting a vehicle's images from a vehicle record is a simple process.
Step 1. While on any page in a vehicle record, click the Edit Images button in the upper-right corner of the screen.
The vehicle images drag-and-drop pop-up opens.
Step 2. If you wish to change the featured image, simply click on a different image in the window and drag and drop it to the left of the current featured image.
The other images will be numbered in the order in which they will appear in the photo array. You can also rearrange those images by dragging them to the left or right and dropping them into the position you wish.
Step 3. To delete an image, click the blue X in the upper-right corner of the image. The image will be removed.
Step 4. Repeat Step 2 until you've removed all the images you wish to.
Step 5. When you've finished deleting the photos, click Close to close the drag-and-drop pop-up.
You can easily delete a vehicle from the system with a few clicks. However, you must have the appropriate permissions.
Step 1. Use the Vehicle Search screen to select the vehicle you would like to delete from the system.
Step 2. While on any page of the vehicle record, click the Delete Vehicle button in the upper-right corner of the screen above the Vehicle Summary Card.
Step 3. A pop-up will as that you verify you want to delete the vehicle. Click Delete (if the vehicle has been marked as "Sold") or Delete and Remove from Deals (if the vehicle is still in stock but may be associated with deals). The vehicle record will be deleted.
