Users with the appropriate permissions can change the Login Name and Account Email for employees.
Step 1. Click the Setup Application button in the left navigation panel. The Dealership Information screen opens.
Step 2. Click the Employees button on the Dealership Information screen.
Step 3. The Employee Search screen opens. Use the Search field to enter an employee's full or partial name and click Search or press ENTER. You can also use the vertical scroll bar to scroll through the list of employees to find the one you're looking for.
Step 4. Click the View icon to open the employee's record.
Step 5. In the employee record, click the Account button. The Account Options page of the record opens.
Step 6. Click the Edit button next to the Login Name field. This switches the field from read-only to editable. Make the necessary change.
Step 7. To change the email associated with the account, click the Edit button next to the Account Email field. This switches the field from read-only to editable. Make the necessary change.
Step 8. Click Save.
|Note: The following steps must be completed by the employee for whom you've changed the email address associated with the account.|
Step 9. A confirmation email is sent to the new email address with a verification link included. The user will click that link to verify their email address.
Step 10. After clicking the verification link, the user is taken to a system screen that prompts them for the account password. Enter it, and the account email change is complete.
