You can add a profile image to a customer record. This image allows you to recognize your customer when he or she walks into the dealership or to assign a logo to a business customer. To use this feature, you must either take a photo of the customer and save it to your computer or tablet or ask the customer to send a photo to you. You can also connect to the customer’s social media account to grab an existing profile image.
Step 1. From the Customer Search screen, search for or create the customer record for the individual.
Step 2. While on the Customer Overview screen, click the camera icon in the lower-left corner of the gray customer monogram.
Step 3. The customer profile image popup will open containing the customer’s name and a gray Add Photo box with a plus button in the center. Click the Add Photo box.
Step 4. A PC file search window will open. Navigate to the drive and folder where you have saved your customer image. Click on the image you wish to use for the customer. It will open in a cropping popup.
Step 5. Crop the image as necessary using the crop box on top of the photo. When you are happy with the image, click the Crop button.
Step 6. The cropped image appears under the customer’s name in the customer profile image popup.
Step 7. If you are not satisfied and wish to start over, click Start Again. The image will be removed, and you will once again see the Add Photo box. Repeat steps 3 through 6 to select a new photo.
If you’re happy with the image, click Save and Close. The image will be saved and appear in the Customer Summary card.
