Setting Autosoft Market Analysis Defaults

As part of our Inventory Management product, Autosoft offers Autosoft Market Analysis, a market-based pricing tool.

Note:  The Autosoft Market Analysis card is part of Autosoft's Inventory Management product. You must have a subscription to Autosoft's Inventory Management product to access and use this feature. 

To set your Autosoft Market Analysis defaults, follow these steps:

Step 1. Click the Setup Application button in the left navigation bar. The Dealership Information screen will open.

Step 2. Click the Vehicle button above the Dealership Summary Card. A drop-down menu of options will open.


Step 3. Select Bookout Defaults from the menu. The Bookout Defaults page will open.


Note:  The Autosoft Market Analysis card will only be present on this screen if you have a subscription to Autosoft's Inventory Management product. 

Step 4. In the Autosoft Market Analysis card, use the Compare Providers options menu to select the providers you'd like to use when performing an Autosoft Market Analysis review from a vehicle record (using the Autosoft Market Analysis button). 


Step 5. Use the Default Distance field to select the market search radius you'd like to set as a default when using the Autosoft Market Analysis tool. The tool will search for similar vehicles in the selected radius for market analysis purposes. 

Step 6. In the Pricing field, select the default vehicle pricing information that populates the Autosoft Market Analysis card. The card will pull a vehicle's MSRP, Internet Price, or List Price directly from a vehicle record's Pricing card based on your selection here. Any changes made to the vehicle pricing in the Autosoft Market Analysis tool will populate back to the default field in the vehicle record's Pricing card. 

Step 7. Click Save. A green "Success" message will verify that your changes have been saved.
