Adding a Store to Your Account

Standard Autosoft accounts can have up to two active stores on their Sales and F&I account.

Important:  If you have more than two active stores for which you would like to use Sales and F&I, contact the Autosoft Customer Success Center at 800.473.4630 to increase your dealership's active store limit.

To add a store, follow these steps:

Step 1. Click the Setup app button in the main navigation button bar. The Setup app will open to the Dealership Information page.

Step 2. Click the Stores button in the horizontal button bar under the Dealership Summary Card. The Stores page of the dealership setup will open.

Step 3. Click the Add New Store button. Note that this button will only be active if you have only one store marked "Active." Even if you have multiple stores set up in the system, if only one of those stores has an "Active" status, you can add a new store.

Step 4. A pop-up will open where you will add all the basic information for the new store. Enter the name, phone numbers, and address for the store in the respective cards.

Step 5. Use the Account Numbers card to assign the store's various account numbers. Click the options button in the Type field to open the options menu, where you can select from Dealer, Business License, Sales Tax, Zone, RRMC, and OEM to determine which operations will be assigned to the account number you will enter in the next step.

Step 6. In the Account Numbers field, enter the account number that will be used for the operation type you selected in Step 5. 

Step 7. Click the blue + button to add another account number and repeat Steps 5 and 6 until you've added all the necessary accounts.

Step 8. Click Save and Close. The new store will appear in the Stores list on the Stores page of the dealership setup.
