You can add notes to a deal to help you remember important information. These notes will not be visible from the deal's Desking screen; they're only accessible by clicking the Notes button in the upper-right corner of the Desking screen. This allows you to make dealership-only notes that customers won't be able to see if you share your Desking screen with them during the sales process.
When notes have been added to a deal, a red badge will appear on the Notes button. The badge will alert you to the total number of notes on the deal.
To add a note:
Step 1. Open an existing deal or start a new deal.
Step 2. Click the Desking button under the Deal Summary Card. The Desking page of the deal will open.
Step 3. Click the Notes button in the upper-right corner of the Desking page. The Notes & Activity pop-up will open.
Step 4. Click the Add Note button in the upper-right corner of the pop-up. The Add Note pop-up will open, displaying the current date above a text entry box.
Step 5. Click inside the text entry box and type the note.
Step 6. Click Save and Close. The note will appear in the Notes & Activity pop-up to the right of the date it was made. The name of the dealership employee who made the note will be listed to the right of the note.
Step 7. Click Close to close the Notes & Activity pop-up and return to the Desking page.
